Monthly Recipe: Everything Sauce!
Summertime is a great time to simplify, especially when it comes to cooking. Enter Everything Sauce. I keep this easy-to-prepare sauce in a mason jar in my fridge to use whenever I feel like throwing together a stir-fry, or want to marinate that meat I just brought home in something yummy before throwing on the grill. It literally takes 5 minutes to throw together, and voilà! Sauce you can literally put on anything.
Traditional stir fry sauces you can get at the store are typically full of added sugar and made with soy. This recipe has neither, and you won’t miss them, I promise!
1 c. coconut aminos
1/4 c. fish sauce
2 T. rice vinegar
Juice of one orange
2 t. garlic powder
2 t. ginger powder
Throw everything together in a mason jar, give it a good shake, and enjoy! Use it for stir fry, as a marinade for meats and veggies, as a salad dressing (it’s delicious. I’m not kidding) or as a braising liquid for Instant Pot or slow cooker adventures.
